MilSpouse Friday Fill-In #6

Happy Friday everyone! Here are the questions for the Friday fill-in. Head over to WifeofaSailor‘s blog to get your own set of questions and to link your blog. Enjoy!

1. What is the best gift you’ve ever received or given?

The best gift I’ve ever received is a pearl necklace from my husband for Christmas 2 years ago. You can read about that here. The best gift I’ve ever given is probably the Kindle that I gave to my husband this year. He’s been talking about getting one of these for months and I finally got to surprise him with it last night. He’s looking forward to taking it along with him on work trips and the upcoming deployment.

2. Do you celebrate holidays differently when your loved one is deployed/gone or do you keep tradition?

When Evan was gone last time, I celebrated in the same way that I did the year before. He may be gone for the holidays next year, so we’ll see what happens then.

3. If you celebrate Christmas, do you put an angel, star or something else on the top of your tree?

We don’t have a tree topper yet and I’m not exactly sure why. I’m planning on purchasing one after the holidays when all of the decorations are dirt cheap. I’m hoping to land something at Pier 1.

4. What are your three favorite websites?

Facebook, Amazon and The Bump

5. On your man do you prefer….boxer, briefs or boxer briefs? Or commando?

I personally don’t think anyone should go commando 😉 I think boxer briefs are my favorite though.

I don’t know if I’ll be doing much blogging while we’re away for the holidays so I wanted to wish everyone Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Here from ICLW 🙂 I really love this winter theme you've changed your blog to. I always think about changing the layout of my blog- sometimes I even play around, but I never like anything enough to make it stick. I'm scared to own a house for exactly that reason 🙂 Best wishes.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who waits to buy new holiday ornaments until after Christmas! Hope you have an amazing Christmas and a great new year too!!! Lots of love from ICLW #110
