TTC Timeline

Just in case you wanted a run down of our TTC history… here it is.

12.16.06 – Married! Throw away the birth control pills.

01.07 – 04.08 – E deploys for a 15 month deployment to Afghanistan – TTC break before we could even really start.

04.08 – E returns home. Let’s get this show on the road.

04.08 – 04.09 – Periods on coming every other month or so. Sometimes longer. There is a definitely an issue but we cannot get a referral until 1 year of TTC thanks to our insurance.

04.09 – Referral to OB/GYN who “dabbles” in infertility. Have to wait on a cycle to start C.lomid 50mg.

04.09 – 10.09 – No cycles. P.rovera failed twice. Progesterone shot given to jumpstart my body.

10.09 – 12.09 – Three rounds of C.lomid = 3 BFNs

02.07.10 – Two pink lines finally appear on HPT after our fourth round of C.lomid.

03.25.10 – Missed miscarriage discovered at 11 week appointment. Our first baby stopped growing at 6w5d.

04.02.10 – D&C performed. A few days later, E and I move across the country to AZ.

06.15.10 – First appointment with new RE. Received PCOS diagnosis and put on Me.tformin 2,000 mg.

05.10 – 09.10 – The 146 day cycle from hell. Begin my fifth round of C.lomid.

10.28.10 – BFP #2!

11.04.10 – Second miscarriage confirmed at five and a half weeks. Natural miscarriage.

12.07.10 – First appointment with new (and current) RE.

12.10 – Another round of C.lomid = BFN

01.11 – Last round of C.lomid + O.vidrel + TI = BFN

02.11 – G.onal-F + O.vidrel + E.ndometrin + IUI #1 = BFN

03.11 – G.onal-F = Cancelled IUI due to overstimulation

04.11 – 06.11 – No cycle = a round of BCP

06.11 – F.emara + G.onal-F + O.vidrel + E.ndometrin + IUI #2 = BFN

08.11 – G.onal-F+ O.vidrel + E.ndometrin + IUI #3 = BFN + 3 ruptured cysts

09.11 – G.onal-F+ O.vidrel + E.ndometrin + IUI #4 = BFN

10.11 – 02.12 – On another TTC hiatus until deployment #2 ends.

02.12 – G.onal-F + M.enopur + O.vidrel + E.ndometrin + IUI #5 = BFN

04.12 – IVF #1 – Microdose L.upron flare protocol – 04.06.12 – 11 eggs retrieved, 9 fertilized through ICSI – 04.09.12 – 2, grade I, 8-cell embryos transferred and 6 embryos frozen = BFN

08.12 – FET #1 – All 6 embryos thawed. 4 lost, 2, grade I embryos transferred = BFN

02.13 – IVF #2 – Microdose Lupron flare protocol – 02.05.13 – 20 eggs retrieved, 16 mature, 10 fertilized through ICSI – 02.08.13 – 3 grade I, 5, 6, and 7 cell embryos transferred. 7 embryos frozen = Chemical pregnancy.

04.13 – FET #2 – 4 embryos thawed. 3, grade I embryos transferred = BFN

08.13 – FET #3 (last chance FET) – New protocol including D.elestrogen injections and PIO. All 3 remaining embryos thawed. 2 lost, 1, grade I embryo transferred = BFN

09.13 – regrouping physically and emotionally and starting the domestic infant adoption process.
